John graduated from the New York University Business School in 1986 and has a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in international economics from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1981. He lives in New Canaan, Connecticut, and serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission. In 2010, John released his debut novel.
