Please read this Solar States review before deciding whether to buy panels from this company or not. I made a foolish mistake by trusting all the shiny good reviews of them posted everywhere.

After looking at 3 companies, I chose Solar States solely based on their amazing testimonials that I saw online. I didn’t want to risk wasting my money on a mediocre or even worse, an incompetent company. The sales person Mr.**** told me that I would get less than $5/mo in my electricity bill if I get a proper solar panel system installed at my house. It sounded amazing. I have a 3 BHK house with a pool, so I always had a more than average electricity bill and it would’ve been awesome to get rid of that expense. The installation done was ok, I did not like the design as it was all around the place. I would attach a picture here but I don’t have it on my laptop. Basically it looks like something like this.

But if it was going to save me a couple of thousand bucks per year, then it would’ve been worth it. However the reality was totally opposite! I was still getting a giant electricity bill. The panels only reduced it by 40%, which was 40% more than Mr.** claimed it would be. When I confronted Mr.***** about this, he lied to me and said he never claimed that I would be getting a $5 electricity bill. He was trying to escape the situation and he hung up on me before I could even answer.

Solar States claim to provide solar solutions. Where, solar energy is renewable energy that comes from the sun. It can be used to generate electricity, heat, and light for various purposes. It is used in various regions, either rural or urban.

I cleaned the panel surface but it didn’t make much difference. Now I’m paying 2 bills every month, 1 electricity bill and the solar lease. It has totally messed up my monthly finances and I even had to get a loan from my friend in March to make ends meet. Solar States sales staff WILL lie to you to make a sale. Do not trust their optimistic claims, they just want to sell you the solar panels and get you in a 20-year lease. After that there’s nothing you can do except make their pockets heavier.

The outbreak didn’t help my financial situation either. If you have been scammed by this company too, then please share it too.
Please avoid this company!

I always thought it’s other people who get scammed and here I am, stuck with 20 years of useless payments.

Solar States Review: Additional Information

Solar States Official Website

Should I get solar panels from Solar States?

No. Solar States lied to sell me expensive solar panels. I would not advice anyone to buy solar from Solar States.

Can I trust the Solar States reviews online?

Frankly, not really. The websites seem to have totally bogus positive reviews. I and possibly dozens of more people have been fooled by their fake PR attempts, but you don’t have to.

Why aren’t there many Solar States Complaints online?

Most of the people who buy solar don’t even know they can post reviews online and they think it’s a bad practice. This, combined with the dangerous number of fake review websites online (where people pay to get 5 star reviews), makes it impossible for people to find any Solar States Complaints.

Would you recommend Solar States?

No. Definitely not!
