If you’re looking for a precious metals dealer in Charlotte, North Carolina, you might come across Atlantic Metals Xchange.

At first, it seems like a simple metal dealer which buys and sells gold and silver items. However, this store uses unethical marketing tactics to mislead consumers.

In this review, I have explained how they are trying to manipulate you by mimicking prominent scams. But first, here’s a brief introduction of the business:

What does Atlantic Metal Xchange do?

Atlantic Metals Xchange is a gold dealer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their address is 11318 N Community House Rd, Charlotte, NC 28277, United States and their store opens from 10 am to 6 pm.

You can give them a call on 704-543-4853. Their team claims to have more than 20 years of experience in dealing precious metals and diamonds. However, they only started in 2012.

While the firm buys gold, silver, diamonds and coins, they are also a bullion dealer. However, they avoid sharing much details about the people running this enterprise.

At first, Atlantic Metals Xchange Inc seems like an ordinary precious metals dealer. However, they don’t hesitate to use cheap and illicit tactics to get ahead.

As you’ll see later in the article, AMX tries to manipulate consumers into trusting them. They are using the manipulating tactic scammers use to gain victims.

Who is Matthew Schipani II?

Matthew Schipani II is the owner of Atlantic Metals Xchange. Prior to starting this gold dealing store, he had no experience in this industry.

Interestingly, there is not much available on Matthew online. His inexperience in running a gold & silver dealing enterprise is worth noting.

Matthew has an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Carolina at Lancaster.

What is a Red Flag?

A red flag serves as a signal or sign that there may be an underlying issue or danger associated with a company’s stock, financial statements, or news reports. These indicators can come in many forms and are often identified by analysts or investors as any notable undesirable trait.

Claims

The firm claims to offer a secure, pressure-free, and comfortable environment to customers. They deal in gold, silver, and diamonds.

Atlantic Metals Xchange also boasts of offering top pricing in North Carolina. In fact, they make this claim multiple times on their website. They keep saying that they are the top payer in North Carolina for any type of gold or silver items.

Furthermore, the store claims to have certified experts to appraise your coins.

It would’ve been okay to trust their claims if they hadn’t tried to manipulate consumers. The precious metals dealer makes bold claims about its services but relies on deceit to back them up.

Atlantic Metals Xchange BBB Accreditation: What They Don’t Want You To Know

Atlantic Metals Xchange has a BBB accredited profile on Better Business Bureau. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to maintain high-quality business standards to get BBB accreditation. You only need one thing, money.

Businesses pay upwards of $10,000 per year to BBB to get its accreditation. That’s a hefty amount and it helps them get a lot of benefits.

For starters, having a BBB accredited profile makes you seem like a reliable company regardless of your company’s ethics or quality. Also, business with BBB accreditation tend to have A or A+ rated profiles.

It gives you more control over your BBB page and you can flag and remove complaints if you want.

Atlantic Metals Xchange reviews

CNN Money had done an extensive investigation on this highly unethical and manipulative practice. They found that scammers and fraudsters had A+ ratings on BBB simply because they had accredited profiles. There was a financial firm preying on seniors, a vitamin maker claiming to treat autism, and a mortgage broker discriminating against minorities among those businesses.

Getting a BBB accredited profile is quite a common tactic among shady enterprises to seem reliable. Atlantic Metals Xchange is also using this method to boost its reliability, which is a huge red flag.

You should be wary of businesses that use such misleading marketing techniques. Take Silver Gold Bull Inc for example. They have a BBB accredited profile but they are notorious for selling damaged products and scamming clients.

This issue alone is the biggest reason why I don’t recommend doing business with Atlantic Metals Xchange.

Conclusion Of This Atlantic Metals Xchange Report

Atlantic Metals Xchange is an ordinary metals dealer that’s using unethical methods to gain consumers. This is a huge issue because a genuine company wouldn’t need to use such shady tactics.

Due to this reason, it would be best to think twice before dealing with this firm.
