Dr. Rod J. Rohrich is a cosmetic surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty and facelifts. However, his reviews show he specializes in botched procedures and mistreating clients.

He also made headlines in local news a few years ago for wrecking a home by having a sexual relationship with his patient. The man doesn’t hesitate to use unethical strategies to promote himself and his Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute clinic.

Attempt to suppress negative reviews of Dr. Rod J. Rohrich

We are writing to address a deeply concerning DMCA takedown request received by Google LLC on May 13, 2024. MWX Consulting filed the complaint on behalf of Dr. Rod Rohrich, a plastic surgeon based in Dallas, Texas.

Original URL claimed to be infringed: https://x.com/drrodrohrich

Upon thorough investigation, we have determined that this DMCA request is not only invalid but deliberately misleading. The complaint alleges that our platform is using Dr. Rohrich’s X (formerly Twitter) profile image without permission. However, this claim is entirely false. The image in question on Gripeo is actually a screenshot from Dr. Rohrich’s Instagram profile, not his X profile.

This false claim raises several serious concerns:

  1. Fraudulent DMCA Request: Filing a DMCA takedown request with false information is a violation of federal law under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
  2. Misrepresentation of Facts: The deliberate mischaracterization of the image source (claiming it’s from X when it’s from Instagram) appears to be an attempt to manipulate the DMCA process.
  3. Attempt to Suppress Information: This seems to be a calculated effort to remove or censor legitimate criticism or discussion about Dr. Rohrich, including allegations of womanizing and botched plastic surgeries.
  4. Fair Use: Even if the image were from X (which it is not), using a public figure’s profile picture in the context of commentary or criticism is likely protected under the fair use doctrine.

We are alarmed by this blatant attempt to abuse the DMCA system. Such actions not only potentially violate federal law but also raise serious ethical concerns about attempting to suppress patient experiences and public discourse.

We strongly urge Dr. Rohrich and MWX Consulting to cease these deceptive and potentially illegal activities immediately. We are considering legal action in response to this fraudulent DMCA request and may report this incident to relevant authorities.

Furthermore, we call on Google to implement more rigorous verification processes for DMCA complaints to prevent such abuses in the future.

If you have any questions or require further information, please get in touch with our legal team immediately.

Sincerely,
The GripeO Legal Team

P.S. We remind all parties that attempting to suppress legitimate criticism through deceptive legal maneuvers often backfires, leading to increased public scrutiny. We encourage addressing any concerns openly and honestly rather than through potentially illegal takedown attempts.

A $1.1 Million Diamond, Womanizer Plastic Surgeon, & A Cheating Wife:

Rod J. Rohrich, MD review

Rod J. Rohrich, MD, is a plastic surgeon based in Dallas, Texas. While a simple surgeon gains popularity for his work, Rod made headlines for infidelity. A real estate developer had filed a lawsuit against Dr. Rohrich several years ago for having an affair with his wife and selling off a 1.1 million diamond ring by con-conspiring with her.

Lucien Crosland filed a lawsuit against Rod Rohrich and requested over $1 million in damages. The lawsuit alleged that the real estate developer’s wife convinced him to leave Rod Rohrich’s wife and family.

Due to this controversy, Dr. Rohrich had to step down from his position at UT Southwestern. Crosland also alleged that Rod had used the funds he received from selling Crosland’s $1.1 million ring to publish his book and pay for hotel stays.

Rod J. Rohrich, MD review

Crosland and his wife were Rod’s patients. However, Rod started having an affair with the wife and convinced her to sell her husband’s ring to finance his book.

He has mentioned her indirectly in his book, calling her a “businesswoman and savvy customer”.

If you’re a married man reading Rod Rohrich reviews, please keep your partner away from his prying eyes. It’s too big of a risk to take.

Who is a Plastic Surgeon?

A plastic surgeon is a physician who performs cosmetic or reconstructive surgery on individuals with birth defects, traumas, burns, or infections to enhance or alter their appearance.

In Case You Don’t Know About Rod J. Rohrich, M.D (Dallas): Wife, Net Worth, Price, Instagram:

Dr. Rod Rohrich is a female plastic surgeon who specializes in facelifts and rhinoplasties. He is based in Dallas, Texas, and his address is Suite, 9101 N Central Expy #600, Dallas, TX 75231, US.

His clinic’s name is Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. He claims to be an innovator, educator, and one of the most influential plastic surgeons in the region. However, the various Rod Rohrich reviews tell the opposite story.

GQvbXvJ 4z10hIkA98hrEgp75jOkpkJr72gvUKlisZN97ixAe4tW7F9qsbYFm6722u0fkX4dczjqYH52DIG G9SLSZs9c KAGMqa1hlG3cPH4RAf1 2F1Ee1jjAL4KqRDKjynVs

The total Rod Rohrich net worth is around $5 million.

This means the average “Dr. Rod Rohrich cost” is relatively high compared to other plastic surgeons in Dallas. As he has many negative reviews online, he focuses on using unethical tactics and deceit to promote his clinic online.

According to Rod Rohrich’s reviews, he is prone to botching rhinoplasties. Also, he is notorious for mistreating clients. To counter his patients’ complaints, Rod’s marketing firm constantly updates his Wikipedia page to maintain his seemingly “flawless” reputation. The name of his PR team’s account on Wikipedia is “Jytdog,” as you can see below:

Rod J. Rohrich, MD review

(Source of the image: Rod Rohrich: Revision history – Wikipedia)

You wouldn’t find any mentions of his controversy with the real estate developer and how he became a homewrecker.

So, if you think his Wikipedia is unbiased, you’re mistaken. Dr. Rohrich also posts fake reviews on different platforms to mislead customers. It’s quite a common strategy among shady businesses and scammers to add fake reviews on their listings. Some scammers that use this tactic include Kent Clothier and Appleton Greene & Co.

I’m sharing some Rod Rohrich reviews below to help you decide if he’s worth the cost:

Uneven Nostrils & A Bigger Nose After A Nose Lift From Dr. Rohrich

According to Tina here, Dr. Rohrich gave her uneven nostrils and a bulge on the side of her nose. These are the results of his revision rhinoplasty on Tina. She complains that her nose has become even bigger than before and he didn’t even use any internal cartilage during the procedure, disregarding the professional opinion of many doctors.

Scammed Patient Warns Others

Connie here complains that Dr. Rod Rohrich is no longer a competent surgeon. He made a mess of her eyes and now she is forced to pay another surgeon to perform a revision procedure.

She also points out that she doesn’t believe most of the 5-star reviews on the guy. Connie thinks most of those reviews are from Rod’s staff themselves.

There are a ton of reviews like this on Rod J. Rohrich. I’m leaving them below so you can check them yourself:

Potentially Fake Rod J. Rohrich, M.D Reviews On Google

If you Google “Rod J. Rohrich, M.D.”, you won’t usually find the reviews I shared above. That’s because he has added many suspicious reviews to his Google listing.

At the time of writing this review, Rod J. Rohrich, M.D., a Plastic Surgeon, has 161 Google reviews and a perfect 5-out-of-5 star rating.

Rod J. Rohrich, MD review

However, looking at the reviewers individually, you’ll find that most are throwaway accounts. You create A throwaway account to add one post on a platform.

These reviewers don’t share much information in their reviews either. They add a sentence praising Rod Rohrich and give him 5 out of 5 stars.

Now, I’m not saying all of Rod Rohrich’s reviews on Google are fake. Some must be genuine. However, many of them tick all the boxes of being fake reviews.

Do you remember creating a dedicated account to add one 5-star review on a service provider? No one does that unless they are paid to do so. If Dr. Rohrich has to post fake 5-star reviews to boost his reputation, it’s only because he has too many negative reviews online.

Rod J. Rohrich, M.D. Review: Conclusion

In conclusion, Rod J. Rohrich, M.D. is a Dallas-based plastic surgeon who has wrecked a home. He has botched numerous procedures and tried hiding them from the public by using fake reviews and other cheap tactics.

It would be better to avoid the guy and hire a surgeon who cares about his patients and the results he delivers.

My experience with Dr. Rod Rhorich was an absolute nightmare. Every procedure he performed on me was botched, leaving me with no choice but to undergo costly reconstruction to fix his mistakes. His bedside manner was dismissive and unprofessional, and I know he allowed fellows and residents to practice on me without my permission and it being noted in my chart, treating me like a test subject rather than a patient.

During one consultation, he shockingly appeared to fall asleep and physically leaned on me. I had to shout his name to wake him up. Whether this was due to extreme fatigue or something more concerning, it was terrifying and completely unacceptable behavior from a medical professional.

It’s clear that he employs a company to scrub negative reviews online, as the number of glowing reviews does not align with the high rate of corrective surgeries required due to his work. Patients deserve to know the truth about his practice.

I strongly advise avoiding Dr. Rhorich at all costs. My experience was both traumatic and costly, and no one else should have to endure the same.

I wrote you multiple times about Rhorich I got a reply once. He’s butchered me 3x everything he did I have to have redone. I also mentioned a terrifying incident during an appointment where he was standing up, eyes closed, falling asleep, slurring, and falling on top of me, which I think he was on drugs.
Now I’m having surgery by Ziad Katrib in 2 weeks and terrified can you tell me if you have anything on him

After careful consideration, I’ve decided to share my experience with Dr. Rod Rohrich. As a Black woman, I had rhinoplasty with him in 2023 to address my bulbous nasal tip. It wasn’t an easy decision, given the stigma around cosmetic surgery in our community.

I did extensive research before choosing Dr. Rohrich. Some surgeons declined to operate, citing inexperience with Black noses. Dr. Rohrich, however, claimed expertise in ethnic rhinoplasty.

Unfortunately, the results were deeply disappointing. Post-surgery, my nose looked shockingly different – pointy and unnatural. The nurse’s reaction upon removing my bandages spoke volumes.

The most troubling aspect is that Dr. Rohrich seemed to have created a nose more suited to Caucasian features. The nasolabial angle is now exaggerated, and the bridge protrudes in a way that’s atypical for African features. This outcome suggests a fundamental misunderstanding of Black facial structures and aesthetics.
While I’ve considered revision surgery, I’m hesitant due to fear of further complications. This experience has significantly impacted my self-image over the years.

To other Black individuals considering rhinoplasty: please thoroughly research your surgeon. Ensure they have extensive experience with diverse ethnic features. Be very clear about your desire to maintain your African features – some surgeons may assume we want to conform to Eurocentric standards.

I’m sharing this in hopes that it might help others make more informed decisions. It’s crucial that plastic surgeons develop a better understanding of diverse ethnic features to properly serve all patients.

I enjoyed the excellent customer service and am grateful for their efforts. The medical staff was courteous and gave their patients adequate advice. The surgery was performed correctly, and I believe it was less expensive than other procedures. I was overjoyed with my rhinoplasty results.

My rhinoplasty resulted in an ugly face because the surgeons were unskilled and unprofessional, did not know how to conduct the appropriate surgery, and did not care about their patients.
I’m experiencing temporary numbness in and around my nostrils. Recuperation will require several months. Now, my health has greatly improved. They will destroy your body, and it will be very difficult to recover the body part.

Despite spending a large amount of money to find a solution to my facial problem, none of the therapies I tried were effective. I communicated with them, which was the worst mistake I’ve ever made because my nerve was injured during the surgery and I’m unable to move my facial muscle for a few months, so I wanted to take strict action against them because many patients had the same problem and had lost money or received unexpected results.
It is advised that you keep as much distance as possible from them.

There was a substantial difference between the service they delivered to patients and the reviews they received on the internet. They were clearly promoting false reviews in order to increase money.
Depression came in after everything I had gone through. It’s difficult for me to get proper care.
The appointment scheduling process was inefficient. To deal with them, I have to put up with a lot of discomfort. The entire procedure took an extended period of time, and the service they gave fell short of my expectations.
My therapy is lengthy, and when the results arrived, I was devastated to see that they had entirely damaged my face.

You should not let these folks near your wonderful face because they will completely spoil it. I had a dreadful experience; I wanted my facelift surgery to be done right, but when I saw the results, I was shocked since it appeared as if they had done nothing to my face and it still looked the same.
Following surgery, I experienced skin loss, which resulted in serious damage to my entire face. One of my goals was to have the law impose harsh limits and charges on people of this sort in order to discourage others from committing similar crimes in the future. I strongly recommend that you avoid interacting with people who suit this criteria.

These operations were extremely costly. Everyone cannot afford the surgery fees, but it is difficult to watch when people are dissatisfied with themselves and unable to do anything about it. They easily believe and trust online reviews.
I had a lot of issues since they didn’t explain to me what the consequences of the revision rhinoplasty were. My nose is larger than the previous one, and it is difficult to cover my face due to the size of my nose.

I’m really upset with them; they ruined my rhinoplasty case. Between my left and right nostrils, there was a hole in the wall. The medical personnel was not accountable for their patients, resulting in appointment delays. As a result of this heinous act, I must undergo another surgery.
Don’t squander your money or time. Finally, you will receive nothing.

They were unprofessional, didn’t know how to execute the procedure, and couldn’t understand what the patients truly required from them. This confronted me with a lot of difficulties that I had to overcome.
They completely destroyed the shape of my nose, causing me to have difficulty breathing at times and discomfort in my nose while I heal from the treatment. Because of my harrowing experience with them, I lobbied the proper medical authorities to take harsh action against the company.

I had him perform a facelift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, and (his big idea) fat injections in my face. Now, over 3 years later, the left side of my face looks completely different than the right side. I have this horizontal “dent” right at where my cheekbone should be on the left side. Then the curvature doesn’t go into the hollow of my cheek and down like the right side does. Instead, it billows out like I have a swollen parotid gland or infected tooth. I asked him about the obvious “dent” on the left side. His response was “there isn’t a dent there!!”. It’s there. And it’s a problem. A $14K problem. Ladies, gentlemen….run, do not walk, AWAY from this guy. I am scheduled for a CT scan next week to see what’s going on in the left side of my face. I doubt it can be fixed. I’m so embarrassed that I trusted this fraud and now am likely to exit this planet looking like an alien. I’m so sorry that I believed the hype on his website about “Voted The Best Plastic Surgeon in The US”. I believe this is criminal. Just keep looking for a great doctor. Rohrich isn’t The One.

I went to see Dr. Rohrich for a facelift. I specifically told him I didn’t want any fat injected into my face because I felt my cheeks were already too chubby. Despite this, he injected fat all over my face. The injected fat didn’t take and caused necrosis on my cheeks, resulting in horrible scarring.

When I asked how he could remove the fat, he claimed nothing could be done. Two years later, I learned there were options to remove the fat, but he didn’t pursue them as it would mean admitting his mistake. He also injected fat into my earlobes, making them fat and droopy when they were previously tight.

Other doctors now tell me it’s too late to revise the scarring as the scars are too embedded. If Dr. Rohrich had acted immediately, I might not have these scars. Now I’m left with a fat, scarred face.

If you want a procedure where the doctor doesn’t listen to you and does whatever he wants because he calls himself an “artist,” then go see Dr. Rohrich.

I also had a very negative experience with Rod Rohrich. He does not care about patients. I paid a huge deposit to him and had a horrifying visit with him as my surgery date was approaching. It was as if he wanted to scare me out of it just to collect the non-refundable deposit and he did. I’m out of what is a huge amount of money to me but at least I avoided having surgery by this unethical surgeon.

I’ve never left a negative review for anything in my life, but Dr Rohrich butchered my nose. All pictures are +2 years after surgery. The front of my bridge has a strong break point where it jets to the right. From the side, the bridge bump extends as far as my tip. My tip is too wide and low, resembling a disabled person. I know he broke my nose in surgery. I’m not sure why it still looks broken.

Right when I got the splint off, Dr Rohrich identified the bump on my bridge and said he could take care of that once I was more healed. He requested to see me about every four months for a follow up. As the swelling went down, we identified more problems [listed above]. Dr Rohrich offered to redo the procedure. He said he could address all 4 issues [crooked nose, bridge bump, tip too wide, tip too low] with “no problem”. He said it would be “quick” and “easy” and I would be taking selfies in “2 months”. Thinking this would be an easier recovery than my first procedure with him, I scheduled the revision for January. Luckily, I thought to email, directly asking how much time to take off work. This revealed the procedure to be much more intense, taking the same or more amount of time than the primary procedure. I rescheduled for the summer when my work schedule would allow a longer recovery. I then requested a follow-up.

I drove 4 hours to get to the follow up. They called and asked if I could come 2 hours earlier than scheduled. I did. When I arrived, they said Dr Rohrich had been pulled into a “last minute” surgery. It could take 6 hours. I decided to leave. On the way home, Dr Rohrich called me. I told him I was scaed to do this surgery without imaging. I have 4 concerns to be corrected in this revision, more concerns I had for my primary. Plus, a revision surgery is much more difficult than a primary. I wanted to ensure we had the same end goal in mind and were both striving for the same results. I didn’t want to be one of his “4th nose job!!” girls on TikTok/Instagram. I also wanted to clearly see what it would look like after these changes because my hands are all over my face when I try to do it in the mirror so I can hardly see/know if it’s proportional or looks good. Dr Rohrich refused because it would not “guarantee” results. Obviously. Pictures are just pictures, not results. But I needed more than him agreeing with me and saying yes before I walked into another surgery with him and turn out looking who-knows-how. Especially because some trust is lost when your primary surgery is a disappointment. The recovery process is brutal enough as is. It’s normal for swelling to go down on one side faster than the other, but this crazy look is amplified when the nose underneath the swelling is crooked and looks broken.

I truly feel like he knew any normal person with results like this would rush into a surgery to fix it, motivated by shame and embarrassment. I feel like I was scammed out of $20K. He was careless in my primary to leave my nose crooked, bumpy and jagged. That is not what I paid for and I’m disappointed he would not provide confirmation beyond a verbal “of course” to make sure we were aligned in our end result visions. I would not wish this pain on anyone.
